Registration Fee: $100 per delegate. An additional $25 fee will be assessed for registrations received after August 19, 2025. Same day registration is available starting at 9am on September 3 at the Lansing Center.

How to Submit a Resolution

Resolutions may be presented on any subject proper for consideration by the Michigan State AFL-CIO. They may be sent by an affiliate or by any properly elected delegate. Follow these steps for submitting resolutions:

  • Resolutions must be clearly typewritten and double-spaced and fit on one side only of a piece of regular 8 ½” x 11” paper.
  • The full name and street address of the organization or delegate proposing the resolution must be written at the top right-hand corner of the paper, preceded by the words “Introduced by”.
  • Each resolution shall deal with only one subject. Resolutions and amendments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 14.
  • Each resolution is to be emailed to Annabelle Hart at ahart@miaflcio.org.

Committees 

The Michigan AFL-CIO will convene a Credentials Committee, Rules Committee, Resolutions Committee to conduct some of the work of the convention. You must be a registered delegate to serve on a committee. Delegates who are serving on convention committees will be contacted with information regarding their committee meetings.
