LANSING, MI – The Michigan AFL-CIO is celebrating a successful election night, seeing 75% of our labor endorsed candidates winning their races.
“The labor movement elected a wave of union members and pro-labor allies across the state yesterday. These wins show that Michigan is ready to prioritize a pro-labor agenda on a local level,” said Ron BIEBER, President of the Michigan AFL-CIO. “With union members winning their elections across the state, we are thrilled to work towards prioritizing the needs of Michigan’s working families and frontline workers across the state.”
