The labor movement is working to protect the health and safety of all workers, including those on the front lines of this public health emergency. As part of that work, the Michigan labor movement has created this page to be a one-stop shop for all of the information you might need.

Our partners at the United Way are working to rapidly deploy resources, to get relief to the folks who need it most. Collectively they’ve already raised a significant sum statewide, with at least one local group raising more than one million dollars. You can get connected with your local United Way at their statewide coordination website here, either to get connected with assistance or contribute money to help them help others.

Michigan 2-1-1 is available around the clock and 365 days a year in over 180 languages. Dial 2-1-1 right now if you need assistance with housing, utilities, health care or other direct services. You can also dial 2-1-1 to get important information on community efforts, school closings and food delivery, and even sign up to volunteer if you’re interested.
